Texas Curb n Borders, Exceptional Service and Professional Results Choosing Texas Curb n Borders to install my drainage system proved to be a wise decision. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, their team demonstrated remarkable expertise and professionalism. They took the time to thoroughly assess my property's needs, explained their proposed solutions clearly, and tailored the project to address my specific concerns about standing water and grading. My project was "simple", two drains on both sides of the house. I knew that one side was going to be easy with just a little bit of sprinklers to pass by. While the other side would be a nightmare with pool pipes, main water line to the house, sprinklers and tree roots. I had my share of salesmen who don’t deliver and was not completely convince when Mike told me “I have your back” but I was hoping that all the fans on Facebook weren’t fake, and Mike and his crew will deliver. The first side went smoothly and efficiently. On the second side Mike’s crew discovered a leak in a pipe with roots crushing and entering the main water line to the house. Not caught or buried like post contractor would have done, it would have been a costly fix. Mike and his crew fixed the pipe and let me know about the issue. He showed me what was done to fix it and went on with the job. I also had a previous drain that wasn’t properly working. I couldn’t see the exit point of pipe. Upon investigation Mike and his crew found that the exit was buried and closed 6in under the street level. Again, they addressed the problem. The crew worked diligently and respected my property throughout the project. I was impressed by their attention to detail—from carefully grading the soil to ensure that the new drainage system blended seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, to painting the gutter connection or leaving no trace behind after EACH visit. Texas Curb n Borders team was courteous, answering all my questions with patience and clarity and were just Great. Two of my neighbors had done a similar project this past month, one of them still has a mount other the pipe in her yard, the other has grass over grass which created a swampy low spot in my yard. Texas Curb n Borders was a bit pricier on their bid than other companies, but I don’t have to go behind and fix the details or worry that I may have a leak. I’m hoping for some rain to test the system which should function perfectly, providing effective water management and peace of mind. With this new system I hope to never see pools or rivers growing in my yard. Overall, I highly recommend Texas Curb n Borders to anyone seeking drainage solutions. I called the Main number and spoke to Sweet Mrs. Iris she set me an appointment for Mike to come and give us a bid she kept me informed of any changes through through out. I am so pleased with my new border system from Texas Curb N' Borders! I have been looking at their Facebook page and reading reviews for months and finally decided to give them a call. When Mike came to our home he was very nice and wanted to get a feel of how we saw our yard in the future. We were able to tie in a couple of projects with him to start soon for our backyard. My husband and I picked what we wanted from samples Mike brought and we assumed the work would be done off site and the borders would be placed after they were made. It was an absolute smooth sailing experience working with them on our landscaping curb project. Both, Iris as well as Mike were a pleasure to work with. I first got a soft bid from Mike and when we were ready to get the work done, we asked for a formal bid (this bid has great discounts if you accept the bid in 5 days – so plan accordingly, you don’t want to lose out on the savings). The detailed bid was submitted in a day and was very clear on what work they will do and the charges for the same. Once we accepted the bid and signed the contract, we were assigned a start date and the work was done in 3 days, mostly working in early mornings with no disturbance to us. The crew did a neat job, but the main work is done by Mike and these landscaping Texas Tuff Stones are a piece of art in my opinion.
